Asia was the continent we waited a long time to travel to. Somehow all others looked more inviting for us. But once we got the taste of Asia, we cannot
stop coming back over and over again. It has a surprising variety of nature, culture and fantastic food.
You like our pictures? Then we would be happy for a small coffee so that we can continue giving you a lot of nice content :-). TX!
By far the smallest country we have visited in Asia so far. And we only spent 3 days here, or better, in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan on our way from Miri to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. And we have to admit: we met the friendliest people of our our travels so far there!
Where to start in India - a country that is huge, fascinating, challenging and often overhelming. A country that change us the most in many ways. You either hate it or love it. Well, we definitely love it. We have visited: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Still many regions left to explore.
Indonesia was our first country in Asia. Nina came there first alone and touched down in Bali. It was a tourist shock first. But got better the further away we went from the tourist center of South Bali including Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. A second visit is planned now for 2019/2020.
Malaysia is one of our favourite countries in Asia. It's religious and ethnic mix and the people are simply wonderful. Well, and Kuala Lumpur, the capital, is a fascintating city. We have been to the mainland (Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Cameron Highlands, Penang, Langkawi) as well as to Borneo (Sabah and Sarawak).
On our first visit, Singapore was too clean, too sterile and too organised for us. But on the second visit we discovered some advantages and beauties of the city. Food being of course one big draw.
3 times we have already been to Thailand. From the very north to the very south.
